Follow this guide to have your questions answered for all your Virgin Australia Airlines and Pacific Blue Airlines booking queries.
How to Book
Online:
You can make a booking on our Virgin Blue Airpass website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Get started right away by filling in the required fields in the ‘Flights’ tab on the left hand side of this page.
NB - You will be asked for passport details for all passengers on the Airpass so be sure to have these handy before you start booking!
You can make a booking for travel today provided your first Virgin Blue Airpass flight’s departure time is at least 12 hours away.
For Guests with Special Needs or requiring assistance – bookings cannot be made through our website and must be made through our 24hr Guest Contact Centre (+61 7 3295 2296).
Through a Travel Agent:
Your Travel Agent should be able to book a Virgin Blue Airpass for you.
Your agent can make a booking for travel today provided your first Virgin Blue Airpass flight’s departure time is at least 12 hours away.
By Phone:
Only guests with special needs can book an Airpass through the Guest Contact Centre

Method of Sale
There are two ways to book a Virgin Australia Airlines or Pacific Blue Airlines flight and these are:
- Over the web at www.virginblueairpass.com,
- Via your travel agent
Please note that we do NOT cold call Guests or engage in unsolicited telemarketing campaigns, so do not under any circumstances accept a verbal offer over the phone or provide credit card details to anyone calling you directly and claiming to be from Virgin Australia Airlines or Pacific Blue Airlines.

In line with industry practice, we charge a surcharge for fares paid by credit cards or debit cards.
Payments by credit or debit card attract a surcharge per passenger*, per flight segment which will be added to the total price of your fare. For further information, please refer to your itinerary for applicable charges.
Tickets
We are a 100% ticket-less airline.
When you book with us on the internet, phone or through a Travel agent, you will be provided with a Reservation number (also called a PNR – Passenger Name Record). You must keep this number secure and confidential and present it at check-in along with photo identification, a printed copy of your itinerary and your passport (for International flights).
Follow-on Flights
Connecting flights are not available for sale on a Virgin Blue Airpass as your Airpass is made up of 3 to 8 single sectors. This means you can book separate direct flights to get to your destination, e.g. Cairns-Brisbane and then Brisbane-Sydney.
If you choose to book this way, you must leave at least:
- 90 minutes for domestic ports and;
- 2.5 hours for international ports between the scheduled arrival time of one flight, and the scheduled departure time of the next flight.
This is to allow time for all check-in procedures required in the transit port as you will need to collect your bags at the transit port and check in again.
